How to Be an Ally
Even the most well-intentioned allies unintentionally engage in practices that undermine their allyship. This online program pinpoints some of the most common mistakes that people commit and the most common virtues they fail to enact. Through this session, you will learn how to deepen your inclusion efforts in the most authentic ways. Through reflection, journaling, small group discussion, and seminar exchanges, you will learn to identify privileges, biases, and microaggressions before diversifying experience, practicing equity, and creating inclusion in ways that make for more impactful allies.
You will be expected to attend the How to Be an Ally Summit in order to satisfy the requirements for this program.
