Optimizing Team Performance: Managing the Individuals and Managing the Team

Managing teams might be considered the "first cousin" of managing individuals on our teams. We spend a remarkable amount of time tending to goals for each staff member, developing each staff member, and identifying rewards for each staff member, but we often do not extend the same effort to establishing team goals, team development, and team rewards. That is a shame since so much productivity is driven by the team and teamwork.

This webinar focuses on attending to the team's performance with the same diligence as we tend to individual performance. Three conditions of team success will be reviewed and then the "wild card" of team performance - team culture - will be explored. We'll also take a look at the Human Synergistics Group Styles Inventory to gain insights into team culture and how culture either advances our stalls our business plans.
